A few weeks ago, in preparation of our first Waking Life adventure, we had a chat with second commander Paulo Antunes of Bombeiros Voluntários do Crato about his life as a firefighter, the risks involved and some advice that we can use to keep each other, the communities and natural surroundings safe.
In light of the wildfires in the region of Pedrógão Grande, which were very likely started by natural cause, we decided to release this video today instead of early August. Our condolences go out to the families and friends of the victims, our respect to the 1600 bombeiros who have been fighting these fires since Saturday.
